The Newcastle Knights kicked off their Tarsha Gale Cup season with a blistering 58-0 performance against the Bulldogs.
After finishing runners up in the 2018 season, the Knights have sent a warning to rival teams with Carissa Harrison, Jorja Holden and Caitlan Johnston all scoring doubles.

The Knights demolished the Bulldogs 42-6.
Halfback Jonah Pezet pulled the strings.
The Knights scored seven tries and Pezet was perfect with the boot, kicking all seven goals.

Sadly, for the SG Ball side, they fell short against the Bulldogs.
The Knights lost a tight encounter 28-24 with young guns Kane Evans and Christian Ma'anaima producing strong performances.
