Josh King is continuing to develop as a player.

The 23-year-old made 13 appearances last season, seven of which he started at prop.

He's a Singleton Greyhounds junior who has a terrific work ethic.

King is contracted with the Knights until 2020.

2018 Moment of the year: Round 24 v Cronulla

Newcastle travelled to Cronulla to face a red-hot Sharks outfit.

The Knights were down 18-6 with 25 minutes remaining in the game when Mitchell Pearce moved the ball onto Chris Heighington.

The ball went through another two sets of hands to find Josh King who broke the line.

King was tackled around the legs but was able to get an offload away.

Daniel Saifiti was backing up the play and ran onto the pass to score under the posts untouched.
