Here's what our boys got up to this week:

JOEY BACKS KLEMMER MOVE

NRL's top 10 breakout stars of 2018

Newcastle Hall of Famer and rugby league Immortal Andrew Johns believes David Klemmer would be at home with the Knights.

With the Australian and NSW Origin forward granted permission by Canterbury-Bankstown to speak to rival Clubs, the Knights are hopeful of landing his signature.

According to Johns, it would be an ideal move for both parties.

"He's no nonsense, Klem," Johns told Nine News.

"He just gets out there and rips in

"The big thing is, if he took his family up there, he'd love it.

"I see his two boys running around, the little mini me's with their heads shaved, I'm sure they'd love living up there.

"I think it's a good fit all round."

Only 24, Klemmer has over 100 NRL games to his name, 12 Origins and 17 Tests with his best years still ahead of him.

Johns feels the Knights can become a premiership contender with Klemmer leading the pack.

"It's a club on the up and they need a big body," Johns continued.

"They've got Kalyn Ponga there, we all know he's a freakish talent and Mitchell Pearce but they need someone going forward for them. That'd be his job."
