Recruits wrap-up: Prop bound for Grand Final

They won't all be wearing red and blue until next season but that doesn't mean we're not keeping track of our new recruits.

With the 2019 pre-season getting closer by the minute, we've been keeping a close eye on how the likes of Jesse Ramien, Tim Glasby and Edrick Lee have been performing.

Fortunately for the Club, all our new additions have been in fine form.

Having viewed the footage and collated the numbers, we've reviewed their efforts from the weekend in our recruitment wrap-up.

TIM GLASBY

Pearce: Cronk worth the money if they win title

The prop is grand final bound.

Sadly, he only managed 22 minutes in last week's win over Cronulla after picking up a rib cartilage injury.

He returned to the field for the final eight minutes to test the injury, gaining 66 metres from eight uses of the ball.

He also made two tackle breaks and 15 tackles.

He'll add plenty of experience to the Knights pack but he has one last game to play before he turns his attention to the red and blue.

Knights 'Buy a Bale' auction a huge success

"I haven't really thought about my role up there [in Newcastle] too much at this stage," Glasby told media.

"I'm really just focused on this one. I'm a leader here at the Storm. I'm in the senior leadership group and I really enjoy that role.

"If that's something I can do in the future, then that would be really good but at the moment I haven't really thought about it too much, to be honest."

EDRICK LEE

The winger made 101 metres last week with 33 post-contact and a line break.

Proving a handful, the 26-year-old also made two tackle breaks.

JESSE RAMIEN

The centre ran for 121 metres in last week's 22-6 loss to the Storm.

With 47 post-contact metres to his name, Ramien was kept relatively quite although he made a tackle break and 13 tackles.
