JJ Felise has been elevated into the nib Newcastle Knights' 17 after Jacob Lillyman was ruled out with injury earlier on Friday.
The Knights host St George Illawarra in the final game of the season with Lillyman succumbing to a groin injury which has robbed him of a swansong appearance in the NRL.
Lillyman announced he will hang the boots up at the end of the 2018 season and drops off the bench.
Luke Yates has also dropped out of the extended squad for Saturday's game.
