Opposition squad: Eels lose Norman, Hayne grounded

The nib Newcastle Knights venture to ANZ Stadium on Saturday ahead of their clash with Parramatta who are missing one of their biggest names.

Corey Norman will miss the Round 13 blockbuster due to a foot injury suffered in the Eels' 18-10 loss to Brisbane last week.

Bevan French moves to his preferred fullback position in Norman's absence with Josh Hoffman returning on the wing.

Jarryd Hayne will miss the clash with his hip flexor in need of a longer recovery.

There are no other changes to the 17 but lock Nathan Brown has been named in the reserves as he nears a return from an ankle injury.
