2018 Community Season Launch
The nib Newcastle Knights’ 2018 Community Season Launch was a huge hit with more than 3,000 fans and Members in attendance at McDonald Jones Stadium on Saturday.
The free event saw plenty of family fun and entertainment including a cheerleading clinic and mechanical football, while red and blue supporters got the chance to meet their favourite players, welcome the new faces in the team, and get their autographs.
In addition, Members got to benefit from exclusive Member-only activities with a behind the scenes tour of McDonald Jones Stadium and were able to take part in a mock press conference.
“The Community Season Launch was a great success and it was great to see all our passionate Members and fans out in force to support the Knights,” said Knights CEO Phil Gardner.
“As we get set for a new era, we couldn’t have asked for a better day celebrating the start of the 2018 season.
“The hype is building for the season ahead, which kicks off against rivals, the Manly Sea Eagles, on Friday, March 9.”
