Today the Club farewells Jaelen Feeney, who came to the nib Newcastle Knights in 2014 as an NYC player.
After playing a big part in the Under 20s side's 2014 minor premiership, Feeney won a NSW Cup premiership in 2015.
In 2016 he made his NRL debut at fullback against the Gold Coast Titans and went on to play five matches.
The 22-year-old started his 2017 season in the halfback role for Reserve Grade before getting the NRL call up in Round 8.
All though it's the end of my time here in Newcastle as Knight I am excited for the journey ahead. Can't thank the club and the fans enough for the past 4 years, it's been a true honor to wear these colors and I'm truly blessed that the club gave me the opportunity to call myself a knight. I see Newcastle as my home now and it's going to be very hard to leave but that's the way footy is sometimes. Cant thank my teammates enough for the memories and the friendships I've made I will hold onto for life ✊🏽✊🏽#264
