Representative Round kicks off in Canberra on Friday afternoon with an Australia v New Zealand triple header, and there are nine Knights involved over the weekend for different teams.

Read on to find out which matches are a much watch from a red and blue point of view.

Junior Kangaroos v Junior Kiwis – GIO Stadium Friday 3.15pm

19-year-old Sam Stone has been a surprise packet for the Knights so far in 2017, playing eight games and scoring two tries.

He’s been rewarded with a starting berth in the Junior Kangaroos, which will be his first representative showing.

“I’ve never played in any rep games, so it’s come as a bit of a surprise,” Stone told Knights TV before he headed down to Canberra.

“I’m very excited to play and it’s a huge honour.”

Stone is just about the only player in the side who is already an NRL regular, and will be looking to continue his strong run of form.

In this fixture last year Nathan Cleary, Coen Hess and Brian Kelly all played, so it’s obvious that this is the game to watch if you want to spot rugby league’s next big talent.
