Knights TV spoke to a crestfallen Sione Mata'utia after that rollercoaster Round 6 loss to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

"We just really wanted to come home with the chocolates, and we didn't," Mata'utia said.

"There were plenty of costly mistakes and errors, but it is what it is."

In regards to the now infamous no-try that occurred in the 72nd minute, Mata'utia was pragmatic.

"I thought I got it down, but once the ref calls it you can't go back on it," he said.

"As soon as he called it, I had to move on and focus on my next job.

"The best thing about this part of the season is that there's always next week."

Up next the Knights take the Sydney Roosters on at McDonald Jones Stadium on Good Friday.
