Are you a passionate nib Newcastle Knights fan? Do you want to cheer on your team amongst a sea of red and blue?

Fanatic Knights supporters are encouraged to gather in solidarity at home games in the Castle (Bay 1 at McDonald Jones Stadium).

The aim is to get as many supporters in the Castle as possible to create a red and blue army that can generate plenty of noise to cheer on the team.

Knights Member Tania Gross, who has been a long-time Newcastle supporter, wants the Castle to go big on home matches and be the place for passionate fans to congregate.

“I think the louder, the better,” Tania said.

“Newcastle has such a strong, rich football history and it would just be awesome to see.

“I would love thousands…. I would love everyone to get behind it to bring together different chants and even organise to bring instruments along so it’s as loud as possible.”

Member Damian McFarland agrees fans need to have a Supporters Bay.

“The fans can sit in the bay, cheer the team on, wave their flags and chant,” explained Damian.

One of the administrators of a Knights supporter Facebook page, Tania would like to see fans register their interest for a vibrant Castle on game days HERE.

“I think if we had a meeting together, then we could brainstorm some ideas to get people excited for the games,” Tania said.

“It would be good if we could all get together and come up with some things that will pump people up.

“We have the ability in this town for everyone to get behind it.”
