nib Newcastle Knights coach Nathan Brown has made one forced change to his 21-man squad for Saturday's match against the Gold Coast Titans.
Brendan Elliot has been named at fullback, replacing the injured Dylan Phythian while Chanel Mata'utia joins an extended bench, named in jersey 19.
New recruits Jamie Buhrer, Ken Sio and Josh Starling will play their first home game at McDonald Jones Stadium, while Luke Yates and Sam Stone will play their first NRL match on home turf.
The Knights will kick off 30th year celebrations this Saturday at McDonald Jones Stadium by welcoming back 17 of the most capped players, including Danny Buderus, Andrew Johns, Paul Harragon and Matthew Johns.
