Today the 17th annual NRL Community Carnival kicked off, with nib Newcastle Knights players travelling to local schools in Maitland.
Players were joined by NRL Game Development Officers in delivering the Respect program to local students, which included interactive activities and educational resources.
Trent Hodkinson, Jacob Gagan, Dylan Phythian, Chanel Mata'utia, Josh King, Mickey Paea, Josh Starling, Jack Cogger and Braden Robson visited nine different schools.
