The Newcastle Knights officially kick off the 2017 Membership campaign, with a focus on the Club’s proud 30-year rich history.
Over the past three decades plenty of great moments have played out on the sacred ground at Hunter Stadium and beyond, from Darren Albert’s try in the 1997 grand final to Kurt Gidley’s sideline conversion against the Melbourne Storm in 2014.
The Club has introduced new benefits to make it more rewarding than ever, with the most affordable package being the 30th Year Membership for just $30.
This new package is great for Knights fans that aren’t sure which games they can attend, and provides a 30 Year commemorative pin, entry to Member events, 10 per cent discount on Knights merchandise through the Club shop, Member pricing for all home games and much more.
There are other great options across the 2017 Membership packages, with the cost for a family reduced. Families of two adults and two juniors are now at the price that two adults and one junior were in 2016.
Junior Memberships continue to benefit young fans, titled ‘Hughesy’s Heroes’ in 2017, the junior category uniquely includes a donation to the Mark Hughes Foundation.
As part of all Junior Memberships in 2017, the youngsters are invited to the 2017 Junior Member school holiday clinic, receive a Hughesy’s Heroes backpack and drink bottle, as well as a cap, card, lanyard, bumper sticker and more.
In other big news for 2017, there will be a dedicated supporter bay located in Bay 1 of the Andrew Johns Stand at Hunter Stadium. With access to unreserved seating, Members are welcomed to stand, sing, dance, wave flags and cheer the team on.
The Steel Unreserved Membership is the cheapest in town at $12.50 per game and provides the option of sitting in unreserved seating in Bays 1 and 11 of the Andrew Johns Stand.
Key dates for 2017 Membership:
· Wednesday September 28 – Membership renewals commence
· Thursday November 3 – New Memberships on sale
· Friday November 11 – Purchase before this date to receive Membership pack before Christmas
If you are already a Member on the automatic renewal you don’t need to lift a finger, as your Membership will automatically rollover on October 3.
