Knights TV teamed up with Nathan Ross to talk to debutants Mitch Barnett and Brendan Elliot in the sheds.
While it wasn't the result that either player would have hoped for, both were excited to make their debuts.
"Even though it wasn't the result we wanted, it was good to get out their with all these boys," Barnett said.
"In patches there we went set-for-set with them, and then a little error or something would set us back.
"So there's plenty to like here, and I enjoyed my first run."
Elliot meanwhile scored a try in his first outing in red and blue, and was desperately unlucky to not set up another.
"I was excited to get out there and I thought we gave it our all, but it was tough and unfortunately we didn't come away with the win," he said.
"I think I'm settling in pretty good, and I like it up here."
The Knights now head into the bye, before taking on the St George Illawarra Dragons at Hunter Stadium in Round 16.
