Newcastle Knights coach Nathan Brown has named an 18-man squad for Saturday’s round three match against the Canberra Raiders at Hunter Stadium.

Pauli Pauli returns from suspension onto an extended bench, while Sione Mata’utia is named to play his first NRL match of the season.

David Bhana and Kade Snowden are omitted due to injury.

Saturday’s Play NRL Round match marks the first home game of the season while Jarrod Mullen is set to play his 200th NRL game.

As part of Play NRL Round, kids go free to the game with a paying adult (one child ticket is free per one full priced adult ticket) in all ticket categories. The ticket offer is available online via Ticketmaster or at the gates on Saturday.

All three grades are in action, with the Under 20s kicking off at 12.40pm before Reserve Grade at 2.40pm and NRL at 5pm.

The Club is encouraging Members and fans attending the match to support UNICEF’s Fiji Children Emergency Appeal following the devastating Cyclone Winston. Donations can be made prior to match day online or via a bucket collection, in conjunction with major partner nib, on Saturday.
