By shaving his beard for charity, Newcastle Knight Korbin Sims has raised $2433.38 for Ronald McDonald House in Newcastle.
After growing his facial hair for almost four months, the big day came on Thursday at Charlestown Square when Korbin shed his beard in front of plenty of supporters.
Teammate and Ronald McDonald House ambassador, Akuila Uate was also on hand to collect last minute donations from shoppers before the shave.
Sims thanked all who have donated to the cause, which he revealed was particularly close to his heart since starting a young family.
