With exactly two months until season 2016 kicks off with a clash against the Gold Coast Titans, the Newcastle Knights is proud to announce the Club has recruited 8000 Members for the upcoming season!
While the Club is thrilled with the current tally and positive response from it’s loyal supporters, it hopes to grow even stronger. Fans and supporters from Newcastle and beyond are encouraged to Stay True by becoming a Knights Member.
Newcastle Knights forward Tariq Sims is excited by how many Knights Members have already pledged their support to the team in 2016, but urges more to jump on board.
“It’s great news for the team to know more than 8000 Members have stuck by the team. We want our fans and Members to encourage their mates to become Knights Members too so our Club can grow even stronger,” Sims said.
“I’d like to say a big thank you to all who have already signed up or renewed. It means a lot to the players."
RECRUIT A MEMBER TODAY:
Knights fans who share the experience of a Knights Club Membership will be rewarded.
Sign up new Knights Club Members this season and go in the draw to win some fantastic money-can’t-buy prizes and experiences.
Recruit your mates or family members to be a 2016 Member and to automatically have the chance to win the major prize. The more Members recruited, the more entries received in the draw.
How it works:
- Recruit one Member and receive a personalised certificate from the Club.
- Recruit three or more Members and receive an invite to an exclusive inner sanctum experience.
- Recruit five or more Members to receive a football signed by the captain and coach.
- The prize for the most Members recruited is the ultimate match day experience including participation in the coin toss.
MAJOR PRIZE
The major prize is an away trip with the team for one winner (drawn at random from all registered recruiters) as well as a guest. The winner will travel with the team to one of the Knights' away games, stay at the team hotel and experience the match preparations and post match debrief.
