Newcastle Knights' winger Akuila Uate suffered a mild ankle injury this week at training.
In a conservative injury management approach due to the closeness to the Christmas break, Uate will wear a moon boot and will be on light duties next week. He’s expected to resume full training when the team returns on January 4.
Meanwhile, Jack Stockwell is set to participate in a hill session on Saturday morning following his return from a lower leg injury.
