“I’d like to say thank you, the Knights Members for voting me Members' Player of the Year,” Sims said.

“It’s a great achievement for myself and a great honour Members voted me their favourite player this year.

“I’d also like to congratulate and thank the Knights Members for showing up to so many home games and most of the away games.

“It means a lot to the team and a lot to the community.”

A highlight for Sims throughout the season has been the opportunity to interact and get to know the Club’s Members at exclusive Member events as well as at games in 2015 and believes it’s important for players to appreciate and understand the immense support shown by the Club’s most loyal fans.

The powerful forward also expressed how much Members’ support has a positive effect on the team and hopes to see even more Members behind the Club in 2016.

“I’d like to have you all back in 2016 as a Knights Member.”
