The Newcastle Knights wish all the Dads out there a very Happy Father's Day.

Knights Korbin Sims and Beau Scott have taken time to reflect on the immense influence their Dads have had not only on their football career but their life.

"He was very supportive of my footy career growing up," Sims said.

"He was always a massive motivation to play footy when I was younger.

"He's taught me too much to name. He's a very smart man and is a great Dad."

Beau Scott, who is a father of two himself, loves celebrating Father's Day with his family.

"It's always fun to celebrate Father's Day with my kids," Scott said.

"Their faces light up when they give their presents out.

Father's Day also provides a chance for Scott to show his appreciation to his father who he says has had a massive impact on his career.

"Celebrating Fathers Day with Dad, we let him know how much we appreciate everything he's done for us over the years," he added.

"He's the one who took us to football from day dot and always watched us train.

"He's been the main person who has been there all along."
