Newcastle Knight Beau Scott says the team will take confidence into their Round 25 match against the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs after Monday's success against the Melbourne Storm. 

The game carries plenty of significance with the Club celebrating its Old Boys Day as well as the contribution of its departing players. 

"It's a huge occasion and there are a couple of milestones and the boys' last games with the Knights," Scott said. 

"We had a great win down there in Melbourne on Monday night and I think we need to take that confidence into the game.
