The Newcastle Knights has made a number of forced changes for Sunday's Indigenous Round match against the Sydney Roosters at Hunter Stadium.

The home side are without Kade Snowden (concussion), David Fa'alogo (neck) and Carlos Tuimavave (toe) while Jake Mamo played earlier in NSW Cup.

Akuila Uate returns from a knee injury, Tariq Sims moves into the front row, Tyler Randell shifts into the halves, Chris Houston is in the starting line-up while Sam Mataora, Joseph Tapine and Danny Levi are added to the bench.
