Newcastle Knights' prop Kade Snowden has reflected on Friday night's game against the Canberra Raiders and says it will be the second half effort the team will look to replicate on Saturday against the Gold Coast Titans.

"The way we started the game was unacceptable and if we keep doing that then we are going to keep losing," he told Knights TV.

"If we start the way we finished the game then we'll win."

It was in the second half of the game that the Knights clicked into gear and managed the bulk of possesion and contributed much need points on the scoreboard.

"It's always a positive when you have the ball, as it doesn't take away all your energy tackling all half," he said.

"I think that was one of the main reasons and think we were having a bit of fun throwing the ball around.

"We just made it too easy for them. We are just as good, we just make it too hard for ourselves and that showed in the first half."
