The Newcastle Knights has named a 19-man squad for Friday night’s match against the Canberra Raiders at GIO Stadium.
The Knights are set to bolstered with a number of players returning from injury, including Jeremy Smith, Jarrod Mullen, Tyrone Roberts and David Fa’alogo while Kade Snowden returns from a one-week suspension.
With the inclusions, captain Kurt Gidley returns to fullback for Mullen and Roberts to resume in the halves.
Origin representatives Beau Scott and Dane Gagai have been named but will need to pass a medical on Thursday to play on Friday night.
Pat Vaivai and Chanel Mata’utia are included on an extended bench as cover.
