Newcastle Knights forward Joseph Tapine had his case dismissed in Newcastle Local Court on Tuesday morning.
It was found 21-year-old Tapine acted in self-defence in an incident that occurred on September 21 last year.
The Club acknowledges that the legal process has now been resolved. There will be no further comment.
