At Hunter Stadium today on Sunday, the Newcastle Knights joined with the NSW Police in celebrating 100 years of Women in Policing.

The anniversary marks a significant milestone for the Force and celebrates the evolution of the role of women in policing in NSW since the introduction of our first female Special Constables in 1915.

Inspector Jennifer Lawson and Sergeant Sanes spoke to Knights TV about the special occasion, which included a baton relay which is currently travelling across NSW landing via helicopter at Hunter Stadium.
