When the NSW Cup Knights went into the the Representative Round break they were sitting in third place on the table following a string of impressive performances.

The five week period since then has been a tumultous period for the side, yet they still sit in fourth place with ten games left in the home and away season.

While the team has lost two games and won two since the Representative Round, they have been without key players Chad Redman, Carlos Tuimavave, Sam Mataora, Pat Vaivai and Clint Newton for varying periods of time as injuries in the NRL side have seen them called up.

In their place have come the likes of Dylan Phythian, Danny Levi and Luke Yates from the NYC team, who have all looked comfortable.

Phythian in particular has been impressive, the young utility back taking a position in the halves to guide the team around the park and make plenty of try assists.

Young winger Honeti Tuha has been equally accomplished, scoring four tries in his last four starts.

However, the team has also leaked quite a few tries directly before and after half-time during the last month, but if they are able to solve that particular issue they will surely be serious contenders come the business end of the season.
