For Newcastle Knights captain, Kurt Gidley, the support shown on game day at Hunter Stadium is something that makes a genuine difference.
“That Newcastle chant is something that I’ll never get sick of, that’s for sure,” Gidley said.
As he rallies his troupes for another preseason, he puts the call out for supporters in the region, and around the country to be UKNIGHTED.
“I think our Members are the best in the game for me,” he said.
“I’ve grown up in Newcastle and have known how passionate our fans are for our team and certainly even over times, we’ve been doing it really tough, they ride those emotions with us and get right behind us in the tough times.”
In 2015, the team hopes to see as many supporters as possible at Hunter Stadium in their red and blue, cheering on the team.
“It’s the best feeling for me to play in front of a packed house,” he added.
The Members and our supporters are so important to our Club.
“Us as players need their support and their game day support is certainly important to rally the team."

- In 2015 all prices have been frozen at the 2014 price point, meaning there will be no price increases for this season’s Memberships.
- Some of the exciting changes to 2015 Membership include additional gold level seating in the western grandstand in bays 63-69. This means gold level Members can now sit directly in front of the action in the western grandstand.
- This year there is a range of exciting incentives to renew including once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to interact with the team.
- Members who commit to a payment plan will also be entered to win a Backyard Barbeque with the Knights!
