The Newcastle Knights have farewelled Adam Cuthbertson who is heading over to the Leeds Rhinos on a four year contract starting in 2015.

Cuthbertson made his debut with the Club in Round 1, 2012 and has played a total of 53 first grade games for the Knights.

"I have plenty of great memories since I've been here, it's been such a great town and a great team to be a part of," Cuthbertson said.

"All the boys have always been really good and welcoming.

"Out of all the games I've played with the Club, the Melboune game just recently gone was probably my biggest highlight, mainly because of the way we won."
