Departing Newcastle Knight Timana Tahu's successful career at the Club was celebrated at the Newcastle Knights Awards Night on Thursday with players, staff and Tahu himself reflecting on his time in the red and blue. 

Timana made his NRL and Knights debut in Round 12, 1999.

During his time at the Club, he played a total of 126 games for Newcastle. He was a part of the 2001 winning grand final team, broke the record for the most tries ever scored for the Knights with 82 tries in 97 games and scored the most tries in a season for the Knights for three consecutive years.

The Newcastle Knights farewell Tahu and thank him for his contribution to the Club.
