NYC Newcastle Knights’ captain Danny Levi says his side will focus on eliminating errors as it approaches the next round of the finals after a loss to the St George Illawarra Dragons in the qualifying final played on Saturday.

“I’m obviously disappointed, we went out with high hopes and I knew St George were going to start out hard and fast, but we didn’t quite match that today,” Levi told Knights TV after the match at Allianz Stadium.

“We were giving ourselves a lot of errors, but we did stick in and it was a pretty close score line still.

“We sort of killed ourselves, but I’m sure the boys will be able to turn it around.

“We’ll make sure next week we’ll do better.

“We just have to make sure we pick it back up."

The young hooker also spoke about the possibility of facing the New Zealand Warriors in the following match.

“It’s just another challenge we need to face, who ever it is, we’ll be up to it.”

The Knights now face the New Zealand Warriors at Allianz Stadium on Saturday, September 20 at 5.15pm.
