The Newcastle Knights has named a 18-man squad for Saturday’s match against the Melbourne Storm at Hunter Stadium.

Jarrod Mullen (abdominal strain) and Kade Snowden (virus) have both been named to make their return in the starting line-up while Chris Houston, who had knee surgery, is named on an extended bench.

Akuila Uate is back in the NRL this week after making his return from a knee injury via NSW Cup last weekend.

Coach Wayne Bennett has moved Kurt Gidley to fullback, with Tyrone Roberts remaining in the halves to partner Mullen.

Sione Mata’utia, Jake Mamo and Joseph Tapine return to NYC, as the Under 20s focus on their run into the finals.

James McManus remains unavailable for selection and will be further assessed by a specialist for a foot injury.

It is a three-game fixture at Hunter Stadium this Saturday, with NYC kicking off at 1.05pm, then NSW Cup at 3.10pm with the NRL match at 5.30pm.
