Aurizon is pleased to announce the April and May winners of the 2014 Volunteer Program for junior Rugby League.

Nominations were received from Clubs all over the Hunter Region but congratulations goes to the following nominees who are now in the running for the 2014 Volunteer of the Year:

April

Sally Douglas – Raymond Terrace Roosters Junior Rugby League

Glen Pennell – Scone Junior Rugby League

May

Julie Arnott – West Wallsend Junior Rugby League Club

Scott Fisher – Dungog Junior Rugby League Club

Each finalist receives a $250 cheque, compliments of Aurizon as well as a goodie bag and tickets to a Newcastle Knights home game.

Special mention must also go to the individuals nominating our finalists. Without these nominations, the recognition of volunteers' work in junior clubs would not be possible. The program offers two complimentary Knights home game grandstand tickets to any individual who nominates a volunteer from their (or another) junior club.

There are two more rounds of prizes to be won, so log on to www.newcastleknights.com.au and head to the community page to download an official nomination form along with the terms and conditions.

Aurizon and the Newcastle Knights once again congratulates the April and May winners and looks forward to announcing the major award later in the year.
