Voice for Mining Family Day
Voice for Mining Family Day is tipped to be one of the biggest home events for the Knights in 2014 with the team set to take the field in a special high-vis replica miners jersey in support of the region’s miners and to celebrate all that mining brings to the Hunter region and state.
Last year’s Voice for Mining Day saw more than 25,000 people make their way to Hunter Stadium.
This year is expected to be just as massive with around 5,000 miners and their families along with suppliers and supporters of the industry are expected to pack the stadium and help Newcastle Knights fans make this one of the biggest Hunter Stadium crowds in 2014.

The mining industry will be on show with machinery and equipment on display at the entrance of Hunter Stadium and major sponsor NSW Mining hosting a range of activities on game day.
Knights fans are getting behind the concept too with many already buying their own high-vis miners jersey to wear to the game.
