SIDS and Kids and the Newcastle Knights joined together at training on Wednesday for the launch of the Red Nose campaign and to raise awareness about the wonderful work the organisation does in saving the lives of babies and children.

The Newcastle Knights has shared a partnership with SIDS and Kids in the Hunter for a number of years and were pleased to be involved in the lead up to the official Red Nose Day on June 27th.

SIDS and Kids is dedicated to saving the lives of babies and children during pregnancy, birth, infancy and childhood and supporting bereaved families.

The Knights were only too happy to model the organisation’s signature red noses after training and meet fans and supporters at the team’s training centre at Wests Mayfield.

“We are really appreciative of he Knights showing their support to us,” General Manager of SIDS and Kids, Kate Middleton said.

“We are Hunter based and the Knights are Hunter based so it’s just a great relationship,” she said.

Kate hopes the community will get behind SIDS and Kids’ Red Nose Day campaign by fundraising, donating money or buying a red nose.
