The skill and talent of Newcastle Knights juniors has been noticed with a number of SG Ball and Knights Chargers players selected in state representative sides.
SG Ball Knights players Brock Lamb, Jack Cogger and Callen Edwards have been selected in the NSWCCC under 18s team to contest the Australian Championships in Darwin July 6-11.
Knights Chargers player Jesse Cronin was also selected in the 15s NSWCCC team.
Knights Chargers players Luke Huth, Justin Worley, Elih Jackson, KC Edmonds and scholarship player Feleti Mateo were selected in the NSWCHS team to contest the under 15s Australian Championships in Tamworth between June 22nd and 27th.
Brock Lamb, Jesse Cronin and Luke Huth were also named 'Player of the Tournament' in their respective age groups.
Meanwhile the Knights has signed 15 year-old Feleti Mateo (cousin of New Zealand Warriors Feleti Mateo) on a scholarship. He'll remain in Orange until he completes high school.
