Knights Michael Dobson and Matt Minto celebrated Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea by sharing a cuppa and cake at a fundraising event hosted by Castle Personnel in Mayfield on Thursday.
This May, the Newcastle Knights are proud to be involved with Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea to help Cancer Council raise vital funds for cancer prevention, research and support services.
The Club was especially pleased to join with Castle Personnel which also pledged support by hosting the morning tea that was attended by dozens of clients and community members.
The Knights were among familiar faces at the event with plenty of Castle Personnel clients regular supporters at the team’s training sessions and games.
Castle Personnel Services Ltd has been operating in the Hunter region for almost 20 years and provides a range of services to assist people with a disability to achieve their goals.
“It’s great to be down here and to see so many people here,” Dobson said.
Dobson and Minto both enjoyed meeting Castle Personnel’s clients and taking part in the special morning tea, all for a good cause.
