2014 season

The Newcastle Knights are proud to announce five new playing strips for the 2014 NRL season.

From a pink Women in League jumper through to a retro looking away jersey, the Knights will look the part this year.

Women in League:

Inspired by the NRL’s annual Women in League round, the Knights will look pretty in pink when they take on the Penrith Panthers and Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in rounds 9 and 10 respectively.

Indigenous:

Over the years, the Knights have had a strong track record of producing Indigenous talent.

From Ashley Gordon through to Owen Cragie, Timana Tahu and current halfback Tyrone Roberts, Newcastle has been home to some of the most exciting players Aboriginal footballers ever to lace up a boot.

This year's jumper, to be worn in round 20 against the Warriors, was designed in conjunction with Club supplier ISC and a local Indigenous artist.

Auckland Nines:

A specifically designed jumper for the inaugural NRL Auckland Nines tournament, this unique jumper proved highly popular with the Club's supporters.

Away jersey:

A collaboration of several past away strips, this season's away jersey is an exciting new look that's predominately white with the traditional red and blue colours at the top and sides.

Mining:

As part of the Knights' ongoing relationship with NSW Mining, this first time jumper represents the importance of the mining industry to the entire Hunter region.
