There is mixed news on the injury front for the Newcastle Knights.

Adam Clydsdale has a low grade two medial ligament strain but remains a chance to be available in round one.

Zane Tetevano, who was injured in the trial win in Tamworth, has a fractured bone in his hand but won't require surgery. He is expected to be available from round three.

Scan results for Clint Newton, who was injured playing in the NSW Cup trial, confirmed a torn bicep. The Club will take time to consider options including a conservative rehabilitation program.
