The Newcastle Knights arrive in Tamworth on Thursday evening with a number of community activities scheduled before Saturday night’s trial match against the Canberra Raiders.
Friday morning is the first chance to see the team when they hold an open training session at Farrer High School, followed by school visits on Friday evening, then a shopping centre appearance and also a junior registration event on Saturday with select players.
The schedule is as follows:
Friday February 21 – Training in Tamworth
Time: 9am – 10.15am
Venue: John Simpson Oval, Farrer High School
Saturday February 22 – Junior Registration visit
Time: 10am – 11am
Venue: Plain Street Sporting Fields
Saturday February 22 – Shopping Centre visit
Time: 11am – 12 noon
Venue: Tamworth Shopping World
Saturday February 22 – NRL Trial
