Immediately following Russell Packer’s incident in November, a Newcastle Knights official enquired as to the wellbeing of the victim, Enoka Time, through a third party.
As it was a legal matter, the Club was advised against making direct contact with Mr Time.
Mr Time contacted the Club this week to request financial assistance. He also stated he would approach the media about the Club's response.
The Club plans to meet with Mr Time to discuss his request.
