The Newcastle Knights has released its new away game jersey bringing another fresh look to the 2014 season.

The design is loosely based on the 2004 away jersey featuring a heritage look with a modern twist.

When designing the jersey, the Club sought to reflect on its rich past while creating a new, exciting look to represent the team when it plays away from home.

2004 was a memorable season for the Knights and saw the likes of Knights legends Andrew Johns, Danny Buderus, Ben Kennedy, Robbie O'Davis and Matt Gidley take the field for Newcastle.

The away jersey is predominantly white, to adhere with NRL regulations while drawing on the iconic red and blue pattern featured on last decade's jersey.

The 2014 season is already shaping up to be an exciting one for players and supporters following the release of the limited edition pink Women in League jersey.

“It’s excellent for Members and supporters to have so many options to pick from this season. I'm looking forward to taking the field in the jersey,” Knights captain, Kurt Gidley said.
