Unless you give us explicit consent to act otherwise, the following policy will govern how Newcastle Knights Limited handles your personal information and safeguards your privacy. Newcastle Knights Limited is committed to protecting your personal information and giving you choice in who can use your personal information and how it can be used. There are four main areas where Newcastle Knights Limited will collect personal information about you:

• Club / Online Membership
• Databases - email / competition entrants / sponsors / members / season ticket holders / Kingdom customers
• Research e.g. game attendance, website usage, shopping habits
• Via the Club's website e.g. use of cookies

Newcastle Knights Limited will collect directly from you personal information about you:

• if relevant to or necessary for the provision of the service or product that Newcastle Knights Limited is engaged to provide; or
• for other legitimate purposes made known to you, prior to the time the details are collected.

The collection of your personal information will enable us to develop products and services directly relevant to your interests in turn enhancing your Newcastle Knights Limited experience. 

We will endeavour to collect information from you in an unobtrusive manner.

We do not collect information about you from other organisations.

3. Preserving your privacy

Information regarding you (such as name, address, email address and phone number) or products/services you purchase from us will not be given or sold to any outside organisation for its use in marketing or solicitation, except as disclosed in this policy, or with your consent. Your information may be shared with agents or contractors of Newcastle Knights Limited for the purpose of performing services for Newcastle Knights Limited.

Newcastle Knights Limited will not use or disclose any information about you without your consent, unless:

However, Newcastle Knights Limited will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access to your personal information.

You can also play an important role in keeping your personal information secure by maintaining the confidentiality of any of your membership numbers, passwords and/or accounts. Please notify us immediately if there is any unauthorised use of the above by any other person or any other breach of security.

7. You can access the information we keep about you

We will take reasonable steps to make sure that the personal information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete and up to date. If your personal details change, please contact us to update your details so we can still provide you with our services.

Following a request we will provide you with a copy of any personal information which we hold about you in accordance with our obligations under the Privacy Act.

From time to time this policy will be reviewed and revised. Newcastle Knights Limited reserve the right to change this policy at any time and notify you by posting an updated version on our website.
