John Hunter Children’s Hospital takes centre stage thanks to PalmerBet

PalmerBet will once again pay tribute to the work of the John Hunter Children’s Hospital with the nib Newcastle Knights to wear jerseys emblazoned with the Hospital logo on Sunday in New Zealand.

With Australian wagering operators prohibited from display in New Zealand, PalmerBet’s usual position on the top back of the Knights NRL and Knock On Effect NSW Cup jerseys to be filled by the hospital logo for a second straight year.

PalmerBet Partnerships Manager Leigh Dalton said the connection that has been formed with the Children’s Hospital, and the strength of the children and young people who need it most, has inspired the organisation to once again show it’s support.

“PalmerBet is once again pleased to replace our logo for the Round 4 clash between the Knights and Warriors with the John Hunter Children's Hospital logo,” Dalton said.

“We have had terrific feedback from both the Knights and Children's Hospital and from a number of our clients who have noticed the change in the logo for these matches.

“A large number of the PalmerBet team have young families so it is a cause very close to our heart and we hope all Knights fans support the John Hunter Children's Hospital where they can.”

It’s the second consecutive week where Palmerbet has used its NRL partnerships in this fashion, with the logo of the Canberra Hospital Foundation featuring on the Canberra Raiders jerseys in their clash with the Warriors in Christchurch on Friday.

“This is the third time in two years we will have proudly worn the John Hunter Children’s Hospital logo in New Zealand,” Knights and Wests Group Australia CEO Mr. Philip Gardner said.

“With our NSW Cup team also playing in Auckland on Sunday, 34 players will represent this great organisation and its wonderful work, thanks to Palmerbet.

“We thank the Palmer family, Leigh and the entire PalmerBet team for its ongoing support for the Children’s Hospital and for our Club.”
