Upton visits Ungooroo Aboriginal Corporation Centre

nib Newcastle Knights NRLW fullback Tamika Upton visited Ungooroo Health Corporation in Singleton recently to help promote the 715 Health Check program.

The Ungooroo Aboriginal Corporation promotes the social, economic, culture physical and mental wellbeing of Aboriginal people in the Upper Hunter.

The 715 Health Check is a free health check for Indigenous people that can help to determine risk of illness or chronic conditions.

"We're here promoting the 715 health checks, it's a really important initiative and it's really good to see the kids in here participating," Upton said.

"Ungooroo Health Corporation are doing great things in the community all up and down the East Coast, helping the Indigenous communities.

"At the Newcastle Knights, we love getting back to the community and this is such an important initiative that we want to be apart of."

After the health check, Tamika spent time chatting with community members.
