Today the Club farewells Jaelen Feeney, who came to the nib Newcastle Knights in 2014 as an NYC player.

After playing a big part in the Under 20s side's 2014 minor premiership, Feeney won a NSW Cup premiership in 2015.

In 2016 he made his NRL debut at fullback against the Gold Coast Titans and went on to play five matches.

The 22-year-old started his 2017 season in the halfback role for Reserve Grade before getting the NRL call up in Round 8.

He recorded another eight NRL matches for the season, and co-created the Club's striking Indigenous jersey alongside Dane Gagai for Round 10.
