nib Newcastle Knights halfback Trent Hodkinson is auctioning off his match worn jersey to raise money for an organisation called Kick Sarcoma.

‘Hannah Rye’ is embroided on the top front of jersey as he pays tribute to a friend, who recently lost her battle with Ewing’s sarcoma. The jersey has also been signed by Hodkinson.

The jersey auction commences at full time of the Round 26 match and concludes on Wednesday at 6pm, with all proceeds going to Kick Sarcoma.

The Kick Sarcoma campaign is a dedicated fundraising effort sponsored by the Sarah Grace Sarcoma Foundation, to fund grants for the support of sarcoma research and raise community awareness of these deadly cancers.

All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Kick Sarcoma foundation.
