A women’s exhibition match will be played at the conclusion of the Newcastle Knights’ NRL match against the Cronulla Sharks this Saturday.

Coach of the Knights exhibition side, Mick Young, has named a 16-woman-squad to take on the Sharks at Southern Cross Group Stadium.

The Knights team will field four Australian Jillaroos including Bec Young, Caitlin Moran, Simone Smith and Isabelle Kelly.

“We are really proud to be supporting and to be represented in the women's exhibition match this Saturday,” CEO Matt Gidley said.

“No doubt the game will further highlight the talent we have in the women's competition.”

The women’s match will be played in a Nines format and the match kicks off at 5.15pm at Southern Cross Group Stadium.
