Knights TV spoke to Robbie Rochow, Mitch Barnett and Nathan Ross following Saturday's loss at Hunter Stadium.

Rochow returned for his first match since breaking his arm during a training session in early April.

"I was a little bit rusty... nothing can really prepares you for that match fitness you need," Rochow said.

"It was good to get a hit-out but it was unfortunate with the way we started. It is so hard in the NRL to start that bad and get a win.

"I am disappointed but I am happy I got through the game and I will be better for it next week."

For Barnett, he scored his first NRL try in just his second match in the red and blue.

"I am learning the hard way... that was my fourth game in the NRL and I feel each week I am improving," he assessed.

"It is a big learning curve for all of us young guys... the more we all play together the better we will get."

Ross also returned from injury in the match against the Dragons and scored a spectacular try in the first half.

"I will have to watch it back to know what actually happened... I just had to get the ball down and I jumped," Ross said after the match.

Ross also had a special message for the fans, "Thanks to everyone that has been coming out and for sticking by us because we will come good for you."
